LOW SELF-ESTEEM
Many people have low self-esteem.
They feel like they are not good enough, and this can have a major impact on their lives.
Low self-esteem makes you insecure, makes you doubt yourself, and prevents you from achieving your goals.
What exactly does low self-esteem mean? It means that you think negatively about yourself and have little confidence in your own abilities.
This can arise from various experiences, such as criticism, rejection, or comparisons with others.
How can you deal with this?
First of all, it is important to observe your thoughts. Recognize the negative thoughts and reflect on the moments when you put yourself down. Try not to give these thoughts too much attention.
Instead, formulate a number of positive thoughts and give them a lot of attention. Even if you do not believe them right away, “fake it till you make it.”
Surround yourself with people who appreciate and support you. Do things that make you happy and set realistic, small, achievable goals, so that you can gain successful experiences. By talking about your feelings you can relieve yourself and break patterns.
Never forget that you are valuable and that you are the most important person in your life.
